Default I have no speaker wire!!, wiring from old phone & new radio help

Okay,

Please reference pics below. I purchased a 94' GTS last week and it had some radio issues. I purchased a newer version (993) and went to work. Once in there I realized the reason the radio doesn't work is because it was thrown back in after an aftermarket stereo removal. This combined with remnants of the old phone have me perplexed. I can remove speakers to check but figured I would share the 3 main issues below to make sure I'm not missing something.

1) I can't find my stereo speaker wires in the dash from the old radio. There was a RGA cable that was in there and I found out if was cut a long time ago. The connectors on the back side of the old stereo were cut probably due to a newer style radio that was controlled by an amp. I'm guessing that is where the RGA cable came from. There was also an adapter cable hooked up which connected to the CD changer in the rear.

2) I found some wires in the footwell by the fuse panel. They seem to connect to the little black box hiding behind one of main wire loom runs, seen in the pic below. A little black and green one that has been cut or disconnected. Is this for/from the old phone or is this some aftermarket alarm system? It appears as it isn't connected anymore but I would like to know to remove or not. My key does have a grey fob on it which looks aftermarket but it doesn't do anything when pushed. Unsure if this is a dead battery in the fob or a non functioning alarm system. Lastly, I have some wires near the floor as well that I'm holding. Any ideas on these ones?

3) I purchased a 993 radio and bought the aftermarket connectors online along with the headphone (audio in) addition. Is the large cable with the audio in for the CD changer that I would need an adapter for? Once I hook it up to back of the radio other than the audio in cable what would that plug into? the 993 also had a CD changer so maybe it's just a newer style cable?

Also, see the aftermarket connectors. They look like they will work well but I need speaker wires otherwise their no good to me if I can't hook them up to anything.

I searched all over on the forum today for wiring, etc. I also pulled the panel off near the passenger side seat to see those items. I know this is long but since all kind of related I figured I would post together rather than spread out.

Thanks!
Bryan

On a GTS the radio connects to an amplifier via a cable with DIN ends. The amp is located under a carpeted cover next to the passenger seat.

Speaker wires go from the amp to the respective speakers, so you won't find any speaker wiring in the dash.

The only DIN type cable that I have in my dash is the one which travels back to the CD player, unless the CD changer and the cable coming out of my dash are two separate cables both going to the same place...

So, does this mean I won't be able to use the later model stereo that I purchased above? I wonder if there is an adapter as my new radio doesn't have that DIN attachment option. Thoughts?

Thanks for helping!

I spoke with SW radio/stereo in New Jersey. Sounds like the radio I just purchased won't work so I am getting a CR-220 instead as I've now seen in several other posts from the knowledgeable ones.

So, on to the other questions surrounding my wiring near the fuse panel. Thanks

Update, getting the newer radio style from SW and he was great and was very helpful with the wiring for the radio.

Still needing some help on the other issue and wiring below near the fuse/relay panel. Any takers? #2 on my list above.

Thanks

Any ideas on the other question and loose wires by fuse panel with black box? Thanks
