Default Be careful with this car/seller

Just in case you may fall for this line of obvious B.S. This seller has been booted from ebay and is relisting under another name. I think the car is a bit misrepresented unless they made a custom 32 valve 928 sport with 300HP in 1981.

The real seller.......

Poor 928, got hit with the ugly stick!.

However it is amazing how an S4 rear wing can update an early 928.

Pimp Mobile. Did you see the add-on side molding, the "chain" front licence holder, the added front speakers, the hairy leg in the steering wheel photo, and the stupid idiot actually shows the 16 valve engine while saying it's 32 valve. Jeez! And it needs paint and these wheels are ugly and... - Ruf

But wait, the seller adds a correction to his listing: "...16 valve, a 246 horsepower 4.6 liter 8 value engine." Unbelievable.

Aaron, nice call, but he's still wrong! it's a 220 hp 265 Ft.lb, 4.5 L engine. I get the opinion that this kid has never done a damb thing to this engine... and I bet he has no idea what his timing belt looks like! - Ruf

Then look at the high bidders feedback. Could you be anymore obvious? All their bidders are from Arlington. Hmmmmm they must be Mensa members.

I think you mean "this 928 got severely beaten and left with only $2.00 and a stick of gum by the ugly stick."

At least it didn't "get the **** beat out of it and then buried in a shallow grave in a cornfield by the ugly stick."

This car is garbage. Look at the paint. And the seat inserts are cheap K-Mart vinyl that he cobbled together at home. It is crap like this that give the 928 a bad name. If I had to base my view of the Porsche 928 on this and so many others I would think it was just a German Camaro.

Why would anyone actually pay money to rebody a Fiero as a Ferarri? Close your eyes as you get into it and cover all the interior badging, and you'd say "this is the worste excuse for a supercar that there could ever be!"

Are we really all that stupid, or do just some uf us have "idiot" stamped on our foreheads? If you looked in the mirror and yours says "toidi", buy it. - Ruf

This 928 was on Ebay a few months ago; not sure if it ever sold. I love some of the stuff they put on Ebay. You know the car is a piece of junk whenever the seller plagiarizes some pompous blurb from a Porsche history book instead of giving actual details about the car:

"[Blah blah blah]...Even 25 years after its initial design, it appears fresh and new and continues to be respected as one of the greatest GT cars ever conceived."

Of course, if the guy was really dumb enough to put a $3500 stereo in a $4000 car, I guess an accurate description is out of the question...

As for the Fiero "Ferrari" --- I'd rather be seen in a Bradley GT!
