Default New Product - 1978 Instrument Circuit Board

Hot on the heals of our very successful 1982 to 1984 instrument cluster circuit board I am pleased to offer the circuit board for the 1978 cars.

As long as I have been in the 928 parts business (2006) this part has always been not available/NLA from Porsche.

Our new circuit board replaces part # 928 641 923 00.
Fits all the early production cars through 78. Fits USA/CAN, ROW and all variants.

All gauges working as they should with nice and crisp LED lights - these mimic the original incandescent lights without the brashness of LED.

The first batch of 10 will arrive within about 3 weeks or less so if you wish to get on the waiting list please email me at roger@928srus.com.

Price will be $395 for the first batch.

Very nice work! I just ordered a new odometer gear for my 84 and will be installing the updated panel that I bought from you awhile back at the same time. I've heard good things from others that have bought them as well... Thanks for doing all this for the community. It's greatly appreciated.

Alright Roger, just take my money already! Will these be available in the future, like 6-12 months, when I'm ready to work on the '78 #403's pod?

Thanks
hoi

This is the first pic I have seen of these replacement boards. Am I correct to assume that these are hard PCBs and no longer flexible? Looks like an elegant solution that should outlast the car.

No I have not taken a picture at night but will do. Looks exactly like a standard 1978 instrument cluster at night.

You are correct

79 to 81 uses a completely different circuit foil. We stock the 79 to 81 foil as it is still readily available.

Wait... You sell a modern circuit board for '82-'84 instrument clusters?

How did I not know about this before?

We don't want the stock one for our 79-81 cars, we want the improved unit with LED's.

87+ too
