Default replace seat switch?

A button on my eight way seats broke off. What do I need, replace one switch or the whole assembly, and how do I do that. Thanks.

Each switch is separate ...they come with the wire harness attached and need to be popped out of the housing after the trim bezel is removed. You can avoid removing the seat by cutting and splicing the wires with the seat in the car. And ANY of the 4 way switches can be used as a replacement since the harnesses are the only difference.

Splicing harnesses is The Devil's Work.

Take the extra 15 minutes and remove the seat so that you can UNPLUG the switch pigtail harness.

You need to know if you have memory seats or not. The switches are different.
Memory seat switches are way cheaper.
