Either you are totally unlucky person or something else (car wise) is causing the failure.
I monitor failure rates on Lasso pumps and currently we are at less than 0.5%.
So I suspect something else is going on. As DOC says it could be the the driving style or ?
Nobody in my customer base has the same issues of multiple failures.
I feel your frustration.

PS: I hope that is not the metal impeller on the Geba kissing the block.

[QUOTE=docmirror;15079402]What was the dwell time between the 2k miles in the past 9 months? Do you drive it short distances often, or did you drive it quite a bit and let it sit for a few months? If this is a seal/bearing failure, this kind of drive cycle is important to know.

During the season I drive the car most every day 30 miles round trip to the train and sometimes once a week 100 miles or so. this WP saw this and a run to and from Frenzy then the car got put away for 5 to 6 months. Odd that the frequency of driving would cause an issue, I've owned probably 100 cars in my life time, which I drove at the same frequency, not one of them had this problem.

Roger, I'm that guy your mother warned you to stay away from. If it can go wrong it does go wrong:/
