porsche mechanic in the westport vincity
I just moved from northern California to Westport, Ct.
My 928 can use some electrical attention, fan motor is making noise, horn doesn't work, need a new flap motor to get the heat working (it's stuck on a/c) and a overheat warning light (comes on after driving 5 minutes, and car is overheating)
who's out there in the Fairfield county.
I've stopped by the high end place on Danbury airport, but he gets 130/hr shop rate and doesn't do many 928's (the two facts are probably related).
I used a place in Houston, Kirby's, who did a lot of porches and was knowledgeable and very reasonable. anyone like that in fairfiled county?
thx

You can try Pete (elgreco) on Long Island, maybe take ferry across? He is very knowledgeable on 928s, that's his business..
Stan (mrmerlin) , he is down outside of Philly, also very knowledgeable, works almost totallly on 928s.
Dave (worf928) in Billerica, MA outside Boston, but I know he's pretty tied up with multiple 928 projects right now.

There is Musante Motorsport in South Windsor, Ct ( outside Hartford) but I don't think they have a 928 mechanic anymore. They service Porsche.
