Yes I did. I bought a newish emergency switch from our local Porsche dismantler for $20 and wa la. Flashers work, turn indicators work.
All is good. I'm hating selling this car. I'm really down about it.

How cheap is cheap?
I'm having the front seats redone in an 81. They are competition option seats. The kit from Budd is about $900 for vinyl and my local upholstery shop will charge about $400 to build new foam bolsters and install. To me this is big value of the buck. My grey car I did the dash the same way
$200 for the Budd kit and another $200 to the shop and installing is not as big a deal I had imagined or feared. I watch GB's guys take a dash out and back in in a few hours time.
