Default Sunroof relay?

I have looked through all reference that I thought applicable and cant find any mention of a relay for the sunroof. Is it simply fused, or am I overlooking something else relative to a power path to the motor?

Thank you in advance.

No relay that I know of.

At least not in my 85.

Electrics differ across the years, so yours might be different.

Sunroof is just fed from the power window relay like the windows. There is also a single fuse for all windows together - including the sunroof, so if the windows work it has power too.

Update - actually some models do have a separate sunroof fuse - check. Same relay though.

That's interesting.

The chart for my 85 shows sunroof as fuse 14 (25a), power windows as 15 (30a).

I didn't know that the relay fed both the windows and the sunroof.
Thanks for the info.

Waltstar --

Take a minute with the User CP tab, and build a signature line that includes the year of your car. Saves you the trouble of typing it into every post. With that simple info, we can help with electrical info.

Got it, Dr. Bob. Im a analog man in a digital world.
Well, I overlooked my relay #8 for the sunroof and for the record, my relay #21 is for the windows.
I need to acquire a kick down bridge relay. My chart says that 928-615-125-01 and 928-612-473-00 are the proper relays for the kick down bridge and start bridge (respectively). I had a 928-618-109-01 which is one digit different from a automatic trans kick down relay.
Going to look at 928 International.
I have 20 relays of various part numbers for Porsche specifically. If anyone needs a particular number, let me know and I will see if I have it.

WALTSTAR What year is your car? I'm very confused about your relays - sounds wrong.

So you mean Fuse #8 is for the sunroof and Fuse #21 is for the windows (not Relay)

And your Power window relay is in position VI (6).

Correct, Alan. VI is the window relay.

Well, again, I thank you all. My problem was that I forgot to install the fuse.......
