I was thinking about this type of stuff.
It would be cool to redesign the center console a bit. The air vents don't blow on the driver much because of the pod. I think that job is pretty cool but the locking area was jimmy rigged.
That locking area is just a couple of buttons that could be ported over into something smaller.

Yep, looks good. I went with a more utilitarian approach:
I needed something I could see without turning my head.
It also gave me a way to let the passenger see what's going on:
