Ah yes,

I remember living in good 'ole Toronto and having to wipe a tear from me eye as I dropped the cover over my shark.

I guess it's gettin' pretty nippy in Owen Sound isn't it?

Not sure what the weather is like in Chilliwack?
Isn't it a little milder out your way?

Oh well, at least you get to start on those projects now.
Damn propane heater is outta fuel again.......
CRAP!

Hmmmmm?
Nope, don't miss it

Lizard...I take it the weather is kind of co-operating for you out there. We/us here in southern Ontario are receiving a little skiff of snow 1 or 2 cm other than it being kind of cool, it's expected. Do you normally get much snow in Chilliwack ? Please excuse my ignorance I'm not that well conversed in Canadian geography. I hope your move is straight forward and simple. I would probably feel the same if I was to drive the 28 in the winter months....I'm bad enough driving in the summer...
Good luck.....Cheers

We've had 1.5 feet of snow and -15 oC for the last 3 weeks in cowtown.

Makes for crappy driving but GREAT skiing; and a good excuse to get those motor mounts done while waiting for it to melt....sigh...

Ouch man!
The "can't touch it" statement ends marriages you know.....LOL
I keep lurking in now and then but due to my job, I have to keep switching gears all the time. Also, to be honest, I rotate around through The Fiero sites, The Volvo sites and the Turbo Motorcycle sites. It's wonderful to know that as your interests switch from time to time, there is a forum out there to back it up. I will add that there is absolutely NOTHING that I have found that beats the lads on Rennlist.

California is quite nice thanx. Interesting to note that I bought my shark from a guy who hailed from Parry Sound, Ontario. Awesome young married guy. He loved the shark and treated it with respect but had no mechanical skills and the repair shops were putting his young family in the poor house. I felt sad receiving the car from him and promised I would look after it. That was 5 years ago and guess what ------- same car!!!!

Could luck with the winter in Ontario and stay off the 401 towards London for gods sakes. That stretch has nearly gotten me a couple of times. Remember years ago that amazing pileup they had out that way? Well, I was one of 6 vehicles that actually made it through the carnage and amazingly, 4 of us were all together!!!

Cheers

BTW - I really don't miss winters out west. Holy cripes, I spent three years living in Edmonton and that has to be the coldest that I have witnessed. Froze my antifreeze one year. Went to -35 or -40c or something. Could barely breath outside!!!

I had the possibility to have a close look at his heavily modified 924 Carrera GT when I met him in April at the Rheinring.

Well, sorry. I've corrected the link.

However the page hosting the pictures is currently down for some unknown reason ...
