Exhaust manifold collector gasket question
I seem to have bad luck when removing my cats as everytime I tear an exhaust manifold flange gasket at one of the bolt holes.
I am looking at copper flange gaskets as an alternative given I will be swapping my cats in place of my x-pipe every two years. However, I don't know the diameter of the manifold pipe where it mates up to the cats. Does anyone have this as well as the bolt circle measurements? I know it is metric but perhaps I can use a close SAE number to get it to seal.

The plan is to figure out a way to keep from having to spend $5 every two years on a new gasket?

$5? Is that just for one side?

I got railroaded by the dealer on a pair the last time I did this and prices appear to be no different. Also, prices for copper ones on summit and durability sort of offset the cost of getting my *** out from under the car and driving to Porsche on a day off, or an online order.

Oh, the factory triangle units off the manifolds. I've never damaged one so I was assuming something further down stream as part of your exhaust contraption.
Amortized over two years, that's 4 cents a day. Put a nickle in a jar every night before you go to bed. When your next emission test comes around you'll have enough saved up for a new set of gaskets.
