Default Fuel pump relay needed asap

Figured this would get lost in the shuffle in the classifieds, but I need a fuel pump relay asap!

My original one just clapped out last night pulling into the garage and I am selling my car so timing couldn't be worse. Checked with Porsche Santa Barbara and it's special order. Would anyone like to sell me one (?)...used is fine. Car is an 1983; with manual trans.
Thx!

If it's the standard #53 relay, Autozone has them. Part # 19208

Website says the store in Santa Barbara on N. Milpas St has them in stock for $8.50 apiece.

The '83 fuel pump does not use a standard 53b relay. The '83 relay has the RPM sense circuit from the tachometer signal, making the relay a lot "smarter" than the simple 53b.

The Good News is that the relay may be shared by other similar-vintage cars from Volkswagen for instance. You are also brown-truck ride away from 928 International in Anaheim, so there's a good chance you can have an exactly correct one in your mailbox tomorrow. They are a phone call away at (714) 632-9288. Talk to Tom or Mark and your part will be there before you know it.

Thank you for the relay education. I did a bit of research with the O'Reilly (who was surprisingly helpful) and you are correct, the relay I need is a different animal so hence, I've ordered the factory one which was over $50 less than the dealer; no surprise there. Many thanks again.
