Default Sport Seats recovered

Back in the spring, I ordered custom seat covers for my sport seats from Nine Series Classics in the UK - Nine Series Classics

Took a few months to order material, assemble, and ship over... then they sat in my basement for a few while I was busy racing.

I finally got time yesterday to install them and take pics. Critics will gladly note that they're a bit wrinkly still; while I replaced the driver's seat base foam, also sourced from Nine Series, all the rest of the foam is old and used, leading to a fair bit of wrinkling there. I didn't yet have time to steam - plan to just let 'em soak up some solar power today, and besides it was Dream Cruise, had to get out and park!! I wouldn't mind going back later and replacing the rest of the foam - though just sticking on a thin (3mm?) layer of foam would probably do just as good a job for filling things out and taking up the slack.

They're black leather with Blue Karo Madras tartan inserts, plus the stainless latch replacements from Only944. Numerous other upgrades in sight, starting with a new factory dash from Porsche. Rennline fire bottle holder. Momo Prototypo steering wheel. Stainless "Turbo" shifter insert from Rennbay and hand brake button on the late 944 park brake handle, also Only944. Do still need to make a proper boost **** mount and reinstall the AC modesty panel, which will let me tuck in all those extra wires from the Microsquirt conversion.

Without further ado... the pics!

Default After more work

After time to settle, then adding foam to replace the wear, and a little more embellishment on the headrest, I'm finally pretty happy with the end product... won't swear I won't fiddle with them more once they've had more time to settle in the sun, but we have to get sun first, pretty snowy and cold still!
