Good evening folks,
Work is progressing nicely on my '77 924. For awhile I've been stumped about the purpose of a grey hose accompanied by two yellow wires on the driver's side of the engine bay. The hose runs to a black box aft of the firewall, and I can't seem to follow the yellow wires anywhere meaningful. Any ideas??

The black hose is to the carbon canister; most likely the one that would feed into the intake through the vacuum control valve to purge stored gas fumes when the engine is suitably warm.

Those wires look 100% non-factory PO addition - have to trace them, see where the other end goes.
