Yup, yup. I showed off a collection of brushes once on here that I consider essential tools.....nobody takes heed.

DIsh washing liquid or spic and span are my two favs.......

I actually did scrub out the channel leading to the oil pickup to make sure there was no loose debris. It's probably not as shiny as your guys' but hopefully it's alright. I have to imagine some of the squeezed out 574 gets into your oil anyway, no? I had been planning on first idling it with new oil for a few minutes and immediately draining it 1. to check the oil and 2. to flush whatever's left over of the assembly lube, 574, etc. Is this overly paranoid/stupid for some reason I don't know about?
