Default Tire pressure...

Whats a good tire pressure for these cars? Around 36??

look in the gas tank cap cover, in the early cars its 29 front 36 rear, thats what i use and it works pretty well as far as neutral balance to a little oversteer.

Well that's the recommended pressure of OEM tires 20 years ago, so the optimal values are probably a little different depending on the actual tires on the car now. But going with a ratio like that should be perfectly fine for the street.

Its got falken ziex ze-502's on it now...but my gas cap says 36 front and rear...so I guess thats what I do for now...thansk guys!

You could also just experiment with different pressures, but keep the fronts the same pressure and the rears the same pressure. Just figure out what feels right for you.

check archives on this, there was a good thread a while ago about this, many postings of different pressures. I prefer about +2-3 front and rear, it really depends on tire as mentioned and taste I think. It's fun to try different pressures and see how it changes handling. Homework, but the fun kind.

I have an '87 924S, gas cap says 29psi front, 36 rear as Erau said, i tend to put in between 30 and 33 in the front, and 36-38 in the rear.
