1:43 scale set
I just got my porsche holiday catalog and in there they have a set of cars that are dicast, showcasing the front engine cars.This is the first time that i have seen a 944 in 1:43scale.I collect 1:18 size dicast and was wandering if any body had got this set.If someone has got the set i would like to know how they look and if they are worth the $215 asking price.Know i'am hopping that since they have finally came out with these mabey they will come out with 1:18 size also.but i mite have to get these just in case.They look great there is 924(1985), 928(1990),944 S2(1991) and 968 cs (1994)If any body has these let me know. thanks, nick gaines

AFAIK, this set just came out and it is a limited production set according to the catalog. Too bad we can't buy the models individually, and I wish they had a 951 in the set. The price is comparable to the other multi-car sets that Porsche produces. I'll probably buy it through my local dealer -- they give a 15% discount to PCA members.
It's kind of nice to see Porsche giving some official recognition to the front-engined cars for a change!
