This is the only game I've ever bought.
In all seriousness, play the demo for a bit...and then look at the features....then decide if its worth buying or not.
It's only $20

I downloaded this last night after having been interested in finding another good driving/racing game and I was mightily impressed at the features that this game has.
Now, as to getting cars in games, I have a 951 for Sports Car GT that I enjoy driving and a 968 as well that I've downloaded from the Internet. This game might tempt me to spend the $20 if I can build and insert my own cars and tracks into the game with LightWave (I dislike using 3ds max). I understand that this being an independent project that is being profitable to the authors that they cannot put in any real life cars as they would get sued for right to use those cars by the car companies and same with the tracks...however that doesn't stop free add-ons from users after the game is released. I would love to see Mid-Ohio and Laguna Seca added. I have models that could easily be changed to have a 951 (or any variant thereof), a 930 (or any variant thereof through the 993), a 928, and a 962.
I enjoyed the heck out of it. I know I'll get flak for this (puts on flame retardant undies) but since I could easily test and find that understeer was easily present, I wanted to see how easy I could get the car to oversteer/drift and be controllable. So I setup a basic drifting setup and was able to get some very cool drifts, but it's not quite as controllable as I'd like with a joystick only (pedals and a wheel would help a LOT).
I'd very much consider this game a worthwhile investment, especially since they are going to have the option to add your own cars and tracks in as it develops further (heck, you could now if you knew what you needed to do it but they might not give that out yet).

I was searching recently through about all the sites and found it somewhere...I downloaded a bunch of new stuff from 10-15 different sites. If you'd like the 951 and the 968, I'll send 'em to ya. They are under 1MB each if I remember right. One of the 951s I found is FUGLY. If I had someone who could help out doing textures and the actual conversion into SCGT cars for me (I hate using that time to not be doing other 3D work), then I could churn out a bunch of cars real quick.
PM me if you want them and leave your email addy for me.....
