Only944.com - Great Service!!
I've bought all of the shifter products from Kyle at Only944.com and they are fantastic. The shifter rod with the thrust bearings and with the addition of the KVDR 3D printed shifter bushings is incredible. No more rubbery, loose feeling shifter and the short shifter setup with the additional heim joint support rod makes for an almost S2000 like shifter feel.
I was at the track in my 951 for a lapping day Friday night and had an amazing time picking off $100K+ cars. The car performed flawlessly. Unfortunately when I was leaving the track, I went to grab first gear and BAM, nothing. I quickly looked under the car only to discover that the short shifter setup had broken. The alum. rod linkage had snapped rendering the shifter useless. A towtruck was called and the car taken home.
I sent an email to Kyle at Only944.com early the next morning and within a couple of hours he responded by saying how sorry he was, that the short shifter setup had been upgraded and asked for my shipping address and that a new one was to be shipped first thing Monday morning. No hassle, no fuss, just fantastic customer service and support. I felt I had to share my experience here as it's rare these days to receive that kind of service and companies that support our cars like this should be applauded.
I can't wait to get the new upgraded part and go back to the track for more fun.
Now go buy some parts from Kyle so he can continue to develop great parts for our amazing cars.
