You can get a pair of plastic fuel line pliers from Autozone or the like.

Also, make sure that the big hose from the turbo to the intercooler pipe (behind the airbox) is not loose.

Ok, I'll check that. Whats weird though is that I'm gettign boost in 4th and 5th, so having leaks somewhere doesn't really make sense to me because why wouldn't they leak in 4th and 5th.

You can have a leak of medium size that won't let you build boost in lower gears, but the turbo has enough time to pressureize the whole intake tract in the higher gears, since you stay on power for a much longer period of time. Even w/out a leak, I don't get over 12 or so psi in 1st, 15-16in 2nd, and only in 3rd and later do I get the full 17-18psi that I've set.
