Default speedometer doesn't work

Hi,

when i move off, my speedometer doesn't work. If i gently hit the dashboard, my speedometer works fine.
Other gauges and odometer work fine.

How to fix it ?

Thanks

Sounds like a bad solder joint in the speedometer head. Either that or a bad connection at the instrument cluster.

First, I've cleaned up all the grounds i could find, the tach worked much better than it used to.
But i pulled the cluster off to clean it and check wires and solder joints (no trouble noticed) and now speedo keeps on sticking . I think it's worst before cleaning the cluster. I always need to tap the dash...

Any idea ??
Cleaning grounds again ??

Thanks
