68 Chevelle with a 450hp 454. Narrowed rear, fiberglass tilt hood. Fat Mickey Thompson's on the back. Lost my virginity in the car. (now isn't that special). Sold it when I got married and the kid that bought it pulled out in front of a dump truck. The 454 ended up in a ditch, but the kid walked away at least.

 

My previous car. Even though the one I have now is clearly faster, I still kinda miss the sweet 16-valve ... drove it for three years after all, 50.000kms!

It's hard not to miss a car you put so much time into. My first Pcar (944) lasted me a solid 5 years and I put over 100k miles on it myself. It even outlasted my first marriage!

I miss my 1971 Boss 351 Mustang. 351ci Cleveland with solid lifter cam and factory dual point distributor. 11.7:1 compresiion. 3.93 gears with Detroit Locker rear end. Hurst four speed with T-handle. All factory. The only belt that car had was the alternator belt. It was hell to parallel park! Blue with argent hood and Ram Air induction.

 

I miss my 84 Dodge Ram Charger 4x4. 318 cid, 323 gears, 200K miles plus. Purrs like a kitten every time I ask, and the room to work on her, aaahhh! However, she is 200 miles away at the ranch, and it's very seldom I drive her, but I did this past weekend. That is the first vehicle, now I have a 944, and the gas portion of the budget is offset by the maintenance. Looking for a medium.
