Question Installing a Weltmeister harness bar

I purchased one used. It is the model that mounts to the 'c' pillar, where the rear shoulder harness mount. I can't figure out if it faces forward or to the back. It fits both ways. It seems that it would be safer facing forward in an accident but it then I can't fit my son in the back. Anybody have one of these installed? A photo would be very helpful.

Thanks

Does this type harness bar interfere with the rear-most position of the seat and/or recline position? I need a harness bar, but, if it installs at the 'C' pillar, then I will sacarfice about 2-3 inches of rearward movement in the seat, and I'm a big guy and need all the leg room the car will allow. Any help?

Predator, C-pillar is nowhere near your seat, there's no way a C-pillar mounted bar would affect seat recline.
