Congrats! Such a nice car. My vin is 1073 built 12/88 on my 89 951 so they were putting out about 100 a month I guess? On another note some xpel on the door sills go a long ways for protection, especially one this nice.

You are right. The car is outstanding but I am going to take it to my detailer to take take it that next level. It will go to my local Porsche first for a belt change.

I came up with 225 per month, give or take.
Whereabouts in MD are you?

Is there a possibility you would be able to post a photo of your white build code tag as well ?
Located under the rear carpet between the taillights, over on the left hand side of the inner body panel in the hatch. If you have the original owners and warranty manual to the car in the glovebox, there will be a matching white tag affixed to the inside of that warranty booklet. Serial numbers and build code info will be on it with all the options.

Most if not all final '89/90 - 951s came with LSD and the upgraded 10 speaker sound system. The M030 package and the Clubsport FUCHS wheels, which show mounted on your car. It would be fun to know how else it's equipped......( there were but a handful of the '90 models and were thought to be what the factory built out as 'carryovers' to get the bins emptied ).

( my satin black metallic and black leather 951 has all those listed above and more. It was a pretty loaded up model and was once owned by the Porsche dealership owner not far from me; about 250 miles away. It has 57,000 original miles and is an all original, original paint and interior car.... ) The previous owner has ALL the credit for passing such a perfect example on to me, as he owned it for 25 years plus before entrusting stewardship to me. I am eternally grateful.

and..... would you look'it there ! This is post # 951 !

x2!
However, I'm wagering that we will not see M-code 425 listed for the Rear Wiper, and here's why:

All of that was Standard Equipment on the '89 T (and '88 TS). At least, based on every window sticker I've seen/description I've ever read.
If there were any that didn't come with that equipment, I'd be fascinated to know.
I'm a facts & figures kind of geek (in case you couldn't tell )

What is the chassis# (roughly) and build month of yours, mrgreenjeans?
In the link I posted above, there's reference to someone's June build, which throws a wrench in my 'typical' August MY start theory.
Fwiw, VW ETKA V-Pages break down chassis# ranges by build month, I wish Porsche PET did the same... that would be enlightening.
