I'm going over to my new place tomorrow to do some more reno prep, I'll snap some good interior pics.

It could be better... but it certainly could be a lot worse.

Here in the US we can get the same sort of deal through Leyland-West but they don't have "period" restrictions on modifications or upgrades. You need a daily driver and annual mileage is limited. They also do "agreed value" policies for collectable cars that might have a low blue book value.

I can get agreed value up here through 3rd parties like Hagerty, no problem.

That's a pretty good find. Congrats.

Sounds crazy you have to jump through the period correct hoops, but I guess if its a big discount, it would be worth it.

So it's been a while since I've done anything.

Dropped it off at my detail guy for a full cut polish. Came out great.

Cleaned up the interior a bit, still need to do a bit more: steering wheel leather and shift boot leather need replacing still. Center console lid needs recovering, as does the driver's seat.

Removed and replaced the trim around the HVAC, and the trim above the glovebox.

Now to wire up the Blaupunkt, and sort out a couple other small issues.

It's coming... it's still definitely a 10 footer.

So it's been over a year since I've updated this thread.

Found a local gentleman parting out a rusted out 951 and managed to pick up the fenders, nose panel, headlight covers, headlight buckets, bumper cover and a pair of seats. The seats are so much better than mine, I'm not even going to bother with the old ones.

Someone here in the group sold me a very good condition dash last year, so this week that's going to go in as well.

I finally found a couple of hours to pull out that awful cone filter and put a new OEM airbox in:

Seats go in tomorrow, and I'll stretch her legs a bit.
