Hi There Folks,

I'm looking to convert my electric sunroof to manual - I tried to secure it and it made a popping and breaking noise and that was the end of the electric sunroof, Does anyone have a 2 retainers and 2 latches for the rear (sunroof) - its for a 87' 924s. I'm in Northern VA - thanks.

Did you check the plastic gears?

You are correct - the plastic gears are gone - I just ordered them on eBay - $20- Genuine Porsche.
The cable also was totally out - I put it back and I think I am in business-Thanks 968workaholic - you are awesome - will give everyone an update.

I just went through this and recorded a how-to video. I didn't have to replace any parts.
