I just sold my AC Cobra replica to a guy from Switzerland. Of corse I was skeptical so I asked for advice from Hemmings. They advised me to use Pay Safe escrow. They receive money from the buyer and hold it till funds clear. Then calls seller to give ok to release vehicle. When buyer receives vehicle he gives pay safe the ok to release funds to seller. Both parties are protected. I was very happy with the service.

I'd say that's the very best choice unless you have a trusted agent that can inspect the car and release funds after your approval. Anything less is sort of tossing the chicken bones

Good luck with your purchase!

I would trust Charles, who is a fellow rennlister who went and looked at it for me. But honestly, it will end up costing about the same to ship it as fly/drive. So might as well just go myself.

And just to let everyone know, Charles is one hell of a good guy!
