Unhappy Brake fluid on my rear wheel??

Noticed something weird this morning; there was a a small puddle of some yellow-ish fluid on the outer lip of my rear wheel. I wiped it off and it smells pretty much like the brake fluid I have in the car now.... wtf?

I could imagine the bleed screw on the caliper is loose or something, but I can't figure how the stuff would get on the outside of the wheel... oh well. Gotta check the caliper, any guesses if it could come from somewhere else (like the actual brake line)?

Sami,

Do you have speed bleeders? I have seen them leak on their own suddenly . Check to see if the rubber cap is still on the bleeder, if it is gone, it may be leaking a bit...

Nah, old-school bleed screws.... neighbour has a cat, good thing I didn't taste the liquid

AFAIK brake fluid doesn't vaporize very quickly (if at all), so I'm sure I can trace the leak as soon as I get the wheel off. Didn't bother to do that just yet, it's too cold out there ...
