Default i need this little peice for my door (with picture)

were can i find one of these. Its the part of the door handle that connects to the locking ball. the ball that moves up and down when you turn the key. not the one that moves when you pull the handle. I've alread gone through enough pain with those. I have always only been able to lock and unlock my car form the passenger side. now the passenger lock is screwed up (always happens durring winter) So i figure if i can get the drivers side one to work again it would be sweet. then i could actually lock ym car again. The tumbler works good and i have a key to fit in it. its jsut that its not attached to the lock moving arm in the door.

here is a picture.

it attaches were the blue arrow is pointing.

is there anything else i could use, other than finding some place that will sell me one of these? I would REALLY hate to take the passenger side handle off. but would the peice from that side work on the drivers side handle?

Eww... I have seen the pieces that the red arrow is pointing to on e bay. It's the metal and plastic part I believe. I can check the PET for a part number and let you know. Maybe a dealership can hook you up?

Shows it as a connecting piece. Part #477 837 505 A. Might have another pair of eyes look it up as well to be sure. I don't believe the part the red arrow is pointing to will work for the lock now that I look at it more and try to remember doing mine.

I'm pretty sure that's the correct part number and piece. Still not sure where to find one though! Hey wait, I might have one on an old door handle. I will check later if I can remember. Might have pitched it though.
