Default Car is leaking AGAIN!

Ok, i drove the car last saturday for about 1 h and when i came back home i parked it in the garage and the next morning it was leaking antifreez(greenish fluid). So i wiped it of and it sat in the garage all week and did not leak a drop. So i get in it again yesterday and drive it for about 1h and came back home and sure enough, it leaked again last night and there was a tiny puddle on the ground(see pics). WHY IS IT DOING THIS EVERYTIME I DRIVE THE CAR AND NOT LEAKING A DROP WHEN ITS JUST PARKED??? I really need to fix this problem so if you guys have any suggestions it would be great. Can something major go wrong if its unattended?

Did you check the Heater Control Valve? That was my "mystery coolant leak," FWIW.

the heater valve is behind the engine above the bellhousing. put a rag over the clutch hole so you don't get any antifreeze in there if you do end up having to change it...

You know, pictures w/o the belly pan would help alot -- but given how far back the leak is, heater control valve makes sense. I had a leak these before, and the funny thing it was is that it only leaked when the system is under pressure. The leak could also be elsewhere.

Collant system pressurizer. Borrow one from Autozone. It will help you find your leak.

You need to buy phosphate free antifreeze from your local Porsche/Audi/VW dealer, I forget the part #. You'll find it with the search key. It's blue in color.

and if you use the search, you'll also find a whole lot of discussion about this, too.

I drove the car all day yesterday and the temp was at the first line and sometimes just a hair over. When i park it and let it idle for about 5 min the temp goes from the first line half way to the second and then drops down to the first. It ran great yesterday and always runs great when i drive it. Im thinking it might be the waterpump but im not sure, have to have someone look at it.

The Mercedes stuff will work too, and it is usually easier to find.

IIRC, the PCNA dealer stuff was pink colored and called "Autobahn." The Euro dealers sell "Porsche" coolant in black liter bottles. Can't remember the color, but it costs about 7 Euro/liter and is made in Austria.
