It has potential to bring it back to stock if it could find a home with a competent diy'er with time and not on a strict budget. Probably wouldn't have to go too deep into the engine or trans to make it a reliable street car and cosmetically, replacing worn with good used interior parts and, if the color wasn't to your liking, a semi-decent paint job. It's too much work to turn it into a track car, too many miles on the engine and transaxle, would require a full rebuild, then prep, cage, etc.
What color was it originally, ziebart silver?
Has the LSD ever been dismantled and serviced?
Does the torque tube have the original bearings?
Rod bearings ever replaced?
GLWS

Ya the mustang would probably be sold as well, just figure it would be easier to sell and clean up. If it was a 69 fastback I'd keep it lol. I can keep the porsche, I don't need to sell it but time is the main issue and I know the more anything sits the worse it gets.

Ok I saw that you are in VA. I'm in Jersey. Also a Christian. I have the same Broadfoot turbo in my car. I'm serious, I may take it off your hands and I won't low ball you either

keep it on Craigslist for someone looking for a full scale resto project, track or lemon's car,
or v8.
is the Connecticut kid still parding the 944Ts?
he'd be the first smelling blood.
