Three Wheelin'
This may sound odd, but sometimes threats work.
My '84 had been sitting for quite some time. I'd had some "nibbles" but nothing really serious. And of course the wife was taking every opportunity to remind me that the car HAD to sell. I started with what I thought was a reasonable asking price, and I even allowed for some haggeling.
Anyway I was sitting on the can about a week ago, and I made the royal desision that if the car did not sell by Dec 31st, I would start parting the car on 1 Jan. I sold the car this past Monday.

It is a little like losing a loved pet.. that used oil and fuel as food, and leaves little presents in the driveway..
"I want to hug it, squeeze it and name it George.. "
