We had one of the copy keys, without the crest, light, and plastic part. It broke off in the trunk key hole, and it wasn't even being turned hard. Atleast we could pull out the broken part.
We have a set of the keys with the crest as pictured, accept the crests fell off somewhere. Oh well

I bought a key and head from Sunset Porsche in Oregon last year. They cut the key, too (I did have to fax copy of registration and driver's license). It has the gold crest. I was not aware that the silver crest was available (still have the original silver one for the 86 turbo).

www.alzim.com about $20 with the gold crest, all the factory keys are steel thats why they don't bend..I've got a new steel keyblank for that head you can have.
