Who has played Colin Mcrae Rally 2.0 or F1 2002?

I played Colin McRae 3 a bit. It's really tough. I can't speak for 2, but 3 was pretty poorly ported from consoles. The controls aren't very customizable (its tough for me to find an analog throttle/brake combo I like, and it doesn't make it very easy). If I could have that it would probably help, but as it is, I can't keep my cars on the road.
Also, in 3, you can't race a circuit with anything other than the Focus. I got the game hoping to play through it in a WRX. sigh.

NFS:PU was the high point of the series, well designed, great tracks, and loads of replay value with the different missions and career modes. NFS:HS2 was simply a crappy arcade port, I would rather play ExciteBike in braille.
Live for Speed, www.liveforspeed.com , is simply incredible in terms of driving physics, very very accurate sim, almost to the point of frustration, as getting fast is one thing, being consistent another.
F12002 is great, and the GTR mod is like SportsCarGT on steroids, great car models and variety with really accurate paint schemes.
And MotoGP2 is simply too pretty for words, all DX9 with shaders and texturing. Runs like butter on most systems too, funny how so many games run like ****, then you see one done right...

F1 2002 is made by EA sports rights? Bestbuy only has a collection of 99-2002 box set, but I doubt I'd play the old ones, I just wanted to make sure I am buying the right game. I downloaded the GTR mod last night, if anyone is having trouble getting it PM me and I will set you up. I checked out wheels while I was there and the MOMO force feels great, the paddle difference seems worth the price, BB wants $99, I thought I could find it cheaper on the net, but I don't seem to be.

Damn! I just bought it a few weeks ago from Best Buy for $99. I'll have to see if they price match......

WooHoo (In your best Homer Simpson). Best Buy just gave me the difference back (+10%) after telling them about CompUSA's price. Small victories are good. Of course I spent it on a 6 pack of Brooklyn's Black Chocolat Stout and a few bottles of Chimay Grand Reserve.....
