Van,

Do you think that the lash I'm getting is acceptable given the leverage I have? That is, gripping the coupler versus gripping the disc itself.

Certainly it took very little force to get the disk to rotate a little bit. Once the "play" was taken up, then it took more force to actually compress the springs.

For posterity, the car drives fine. I get a weird thumping sound during upshifts but I think it's because I replaced the trans mounts. It's very quiet and is coming from the rear end of the car.

Are these the mounts that you urethaned or are they totally new ones?

Totally new, bought them from FRPorscheMan on here.

I've put about 4 hours of driving on it and the noise went away. May have been a small exhaust backfire, my tune needed small adjustments after the new exhaust gaskets.
