Order the GKN from Pelican and ditch the rebuilds. FYI the 951 axle is cheaper and free shipping on either. Your time is worth something.

^^This. For wasting your time/energy/aggravation, the warranty on the EMPI and other Chinese axles is as useless as the axles themselves; note, these complaints about them aren't unique to Porsches,

I'll paraphrase 'Tommy Boy':
"Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it 'Guaranteed', I will... Because all they sold ya is a guaranteed piece of sh&t."

This. The cheaper axles are complete and utter garbage. They are made with what low grade material than just cannot handle any amount of stress. Get yourself a set of used OEM units if funds are an issue. I got a set of decent ones off a turbo and no more issues...and I had new mounts all around when I did break the cheapo ones.
