Introduction: '84 944 (warning:dial-up, not so much)
Evening folks,
Just purchased my first vehicle from Stuggart, having own(ed) several representatives from the land of Bavaria.
She's a little rough and Id like to (slowly, as the budget allows) bring her back to her former (mostly) OEM glory.
As you can see from the pics, the front bumper has been replaced with some cheap flimsy fiberglass abomination. That's probably my first cosmetic order of business. Everything else will be functional updates to make the car more daily driver livable.
Where would be some good places for used parts? Besides the classifieds section here?

I kinda like the bumper, but I may be minority here. I i took some sound advice on my 84 and focused on mechanical before cosmetic. Now my rough looking 944 is killing cones in AX and going to track day later in the month. I'm glad I spent the money on engine r&r to help it survive the demands of racing. Good luck. Looks like a nice car.

I remember when that bumper came out, it was a favorite amongst the na crowd and everybody wanted one...for five minutes. <Fiberwerks> Not a fan, get yourself a Euro bumper to replace it.

Nice car, congrats!
For used parts, my trifecta is Parts Heaven, Lart951 (a user on this forum), and local wrecking yards.
I like that bumper, too. It needs some help, though. The big bonus to the standard US bumpers is that you can actually BUMP things with damaging it!
