Default Rear suspension bearings

I just pulled off the outer flange on one side of my '83 rear suspension, which is totally out of the shell...seems to have had a damaged inner seal, and about 4 mm of slop in the lateral plane..So I pulled it all apart, cleaned out water-soaked grease, remnants of two bearings and another seal.. So I have new bearings and seals to install..I have ordered new spacers as the old ones were pretty beat..everything else looks OK..So the question I have is this..in the PET they show a small o-ring to be placed near the inner bearing (I guess)..So which side of the bearing does it go next to, and exactly what is it's purpose? Seems that the snap ring would take up any slop between the bearing and the housing..need help here please..Thanks..

OK, so I found out where the small O ring goes..now; I need two spacer rings for the stub axle shaft, p/n #113-501-305 and ring # 113-501-303...Pelican parts says they are NLA..can anyone help me source a pair of new rings, or perhaps some with minimal wear? Mine are probably original (83) and are beat to crap..Thanks.

I believe these are the ones I have on my car.

I am not 100% sure because I did not install them myself, shop recommended upgraded chromoly spacers based on my suspension and they ordered them and did it.

/\ /\ /\ Thanks for the above link! I put mine back together with sub-par spacers because I could not find them.
I know a lot of items cross to VW, but I don't know how to reference them (yet)

Those look great! Thanks guys..I'll give them a shot. I tried googling the part number, but nothing came up.. Empi has been around since the '60's and they did and apparently still do a lot of good things for VW guys. Thanks again!
