No.VA/DC area barbecue
Hey all,
Every month or so, I try and host a Chill-n-Grill, which is really nothing more than an excuse to get people together. And I'll be throwing the November one this Saturday, Nov. 8, at around 6 or so. They are fairly laid-back events, and I'll supply the house, sodas, grill, and side dishes and everyone brings their beer/dead animal of choice. I've seen how some of my friends eat/drink, so I can't really afford all of that...
Anywho, if anyone is interested at coming to my place in Sterling, VA, feel free to PM me and I'll send you the details!
Later,
BB.

Gimme a little more advance notice next time and I'll do what I can to be there, I'm only 'bout and hour 15 south of you, and considering I've driven to Williamsburg for lunch and come back (3 hours or so) right after lunch, I'd consider this to be well worth the time

Will do! Of course, these things rarely ever get planned in advance, except for the last one. Which, conveniently enough, was right after the hurricane came though. I even got a bunch of candles so that the BBQ would still be on, but the power came back on in time...
Hey, you don't need electricity to grill a steak.

Hmm...sterling...how far out is that from DC, only like 30-40 minutes right? I really shouldnt since i have work to do and saturday would be great time for me to get things done...but...i might be able to justify it if there is going to be a few people there! (i saw this because im used to people i know throwing get togethers with 15-20 people coming...and it ends up being like 3 people) I am up for it though! HAHA, aside from trying to get work done, a hobby is finding ways to postpone getting work done!

Well, one way or another, it's going to be on. As for how many people show up, that's an entirely different matter. They are typically smaller, with about a dozen or so people, although some have been pretty big. It all just kind of depends on how the cards fall. Although so far, you seem to be the only Rennlister who's interested.
