No regrets here except that I don't have enough time to play. Still got mine and very happy with it. It's not a daily transportation beater. Regardless of market value it's a Porsche. A definite source of ownership pride. I know for a fact many who sell don't know what they had until it's too late.

I don't really regret buying, but I won't regret selling either. It's nice having a nice car like this but being honest with myself, a POS econobox would suit my needs just as well. It's only been used as a foul-weather vehicle and hasn't moved in a few months now.

No regrets in buying mine, although I wish I had read the maintenance records a little more closely...

Hmm....I regret getting my car. I don't regret meeting all you nice Rennlist people though. I would have saved myself so much heartache and grief if I hadn't gotten the '44. The car has taken every cent I've made. I really wish I still had my Pontiac. I think if someone came up to me and offered me 2500 for the car, I'd take the money and walk wherever it was I was going to.

I only regret the timing of my purchase. I sold out of a short term investment that would have provided a 4-fold gain, if I had only waited to purchase a different 951. D'Oh.

By this Spring, there will be no regrets.

Funny you bring this up. It is coming up on 1 year since I bought the 944.

I tried to sell it a week after I bought it.

No takers.

My first post on Pelican was "In Over My Head???"

I've put 5000.00 into a car I paid 3000.00 for with 124K miles. It is 98.4% exactly how I want it at this point. 99.2% of the original problems have been fixed.

I regret not finding this board and doing more research prior to buying. Everyone I have met here is top notch super good people.

But I can't wait to get home every week and drive this damn car

NO REGRETS .....TODAY...

Sell a 944?

My family and I have only bought

1st - 87 924S
2nd - 88 944 Turbo S
3rd - 84 944
4th - 84 944
5th - 86 944 Turbo
6th - 91 928 S4
7th - 83 944

Why sell when they so cheap!

I did not regret buying nor selling my 951. Bought when I could afford it - sold it when I couldn't. No regrets at all - and at the time I wanted to pour all my $$$ into rallying. Best way to make a small fortune? Take a large fortune and go rallying!

Absolutely do not regret buying my S2 (so far) - I am much more relaxed about owning this one - drive it in all weather and work on it all the time. Even though the 951 was in probably in worse codition - I treated it like a garage queen.

MY S2 is a daily driver and it seems to love the attention/abuse. Not sure I'll ever sell it - but there is a project 964 C4 I know of...
