Default Update on my great 944

Ok last year bought a 86 944 with about 94000 miles 2 prev owners all known. Knew it had some issues. So now I can happily report that after Tucson Porsche tech Dave Radmacher I may have among the best running 944!!!!!!!
Complete new Sachs sport clutch
Varied oil leaks fixed
Poor cold start/idle found to be fuel press regulator and idle valve under manifold.
Headers cracked, replaced with pre 86 set up.
While oil pan off check a couple bearings, minimal wear.
Trust me a new clutch solves a lot of issues. It's $$$$ but best $2200 I spent.

Car drives practically new again, shifts great, revs to 6000RPM easily.

So I happily recommend him for older cars, real small 2 person shop. I saw a 928 GTS in for work and some older 911. Previous I had done last year brakes, belts water pump, tune up.

Great to hear, Chuck! I have had Radmacher work on my faded silver '84 and he did great work. Glad to hear another 944 is tooling around in Tucson.
