Megasquirt is plug-N-play with 944na harness! Just put it inside a gutted DME box.

 

Just sell it and buy a 944 turbo. Way easier, and way better in the end. Unless you have sentimental attachment to the car, or you want to build a custom tricked out setup and dump lots of time/money into it just for fun. As a bonus, you'll have the better brakes, transmission, and body.

 

If you're tuning it yourself, MS has a huge support base but you'll really have to commit to learning about tuning...it's pretty fun actually, but it's far from plug and play. You'll also have to set up the crank sensors in a non-standard way unless you adapt a trigger wheel. You can always pay someone to tune it, just like you probably would if you tried to stick a 951 DME on it.

 

Actually MS3/Microsquirt has 2 VR sensor inputs. There are many people using the factory speed/ref sensors to drive their MS3. Fully plug-N-play with all factory components.
