new wheel choice
#16
Kinesis Supercups it is! Hope to have them on the car for the Rutt's Hutt meet on 11/15, to be followed by Big Blacks with cast drilled rotors and ss brake lines. I'll give them the bathroom scale check before they go on the car for people who ask about stuff like that, and weigh my Cup 1's too.

A recent post indicated that Fikse had repaired a broken wheel at no charge for the SECOND owner. That says a lot for Fikse. I know of one person with a failed Kinesis forged center section who paid for his repair.

Alan, I've heard that too. I know Fiske are wheels of choice for track because of weight and strength, but 1) 'track bad, wax good' and 2) I think they're ugly!
Anyway, I ordered the wheels just now, with Yoko AVS ES100 tires, and new Porsche color centercaps. In case anyone is wondering, the Kinesis Supercups I ordered (7.5 and 9 x 17) weigh 20lb 10 oz in the front and 21lb 6oz in the rear.
