Default Thinking of bidding on 944 turbo

Hey guys I'm thinking of bidding on a 944 turbo on eBay and would like some input. The car is local to me and seems to be a workable car. They say it needs a water pump and a few other minor things. Anyone who checks it out please give me your input thanks.

Well, 45 bids so far, looks like someone or more are interested in this car! So far it's cheap, but will probably climb towards the end. I'd consider this a parts car, too much rust, and crappy interior. Looks like the dash might have been fixed or covered at some point. Better question, is, what are you looking for?

^ as mentioned, what do you want it for?
Could be a capable track day car.

However, looks to me like it needs a lot of work - rust, fixing those horribly sprayed wheels, rust, torn up interior, plus the other mentioned fixes...

If it's an investment you're after, then the front-end accident it's had won't help in that regard.

The price is right so far ($2k) given the condition, but personally I'd spend a little more and get something a lot less tired.

A friend of mine asked me about this same car. I told her to pass. $$$ to get it all sorted.

dzaprev,

You can? Most correct seats are crappy or they're >1k from what I've seen.
