Default 84 944 wiper motor

I need a new wiper motor, does anyone know what others may swap in? Porsche ones new are mighty expensive!

Greg,
The old body 944 wiper motors (up to 85.5) are the same as the 924 motors.
You can interchange a 944 82 - 85.5 or 924 76-88.

part number is 477955113B

good evening, i have 2 wiper motors from a 944, not sure which year, but my uncle gave them to me from his parts car. PM me if you are interested. part number is 477 955 113B, made in Germany by ITT automotive.

I was able to adapt a 996 wiper motor to fit on my 944, just took a small amount of modification (ovalized mounting holes and a few wire jumpers). I took pics but haven't gotten around to creating a guide. Used 996 motors are only $30 on the bay and a heck of a lot newer than any 924/944 motor will be. Never thought of autozone! they are cheaper than most used ones I've seen lately, and there's a warranty!!!
