Default Terminal A sunroof relay

Hi guys,
Have an 87 951 and my sunroof doesn't work. After several hours of checking everything turns out there's no power at terminal A at the sunroof relay plug. So if anyone can give me an idea or wiring diagram of where terminal A is that would be great. And I'm open to any other suggestions.

thanks

From what I can tell from looking at a early car wiring diagram "A" is not a power supply but rather a signal wire coming from the tachometer economy meter. Sorry but I don't have a late car diagram. But the wiring has mostly remain the same thru out the years.

You are going need the entire car's wiring diagram and find the "i44" & "d16" continuation. Does the sunroof attempt to move in any direction? Does the radio work?

Everything works fine, radio, lights. Now if I jump pins r and 2 on the relay sunroof works like it was before

Okay, I looked at those diagrams you send over. The A that you asked where it goes, one wire goes to the instrument cluster terminal #15 and is somehow got something to do with the speedometer/economy meter and the other wire goes to the Tempostat Control Unit terminal #1. I'm guessing it's some sort of inter lock for the sunroof???

Okay, I've been studying the wiring diagrams and been reading the Porsche service manual on the sunroof. For such a complicated setup, they are pretty vague on the Sunroof Control relay operation. Anyhow before we go any further, ground the #31 terminal with a jumper wire and see if it starts working.
