Default Anyone see this before?

I am pulling parts off what seems to be just another '85.5 944... automatic trans and all, nothing special but I pulled the cluster and trim out and found that the cluster trim is made of fiberglass, not injection molded plastic. It even has the maker's name on it, a No. 15 and a different part number than the injection molded trim. Is this a prototype? Or nothing special, and I should just sell it and move along... I only have the older style dash cars, so its not really useful to me... see pics... thoughts?

85.5 was the changeover to the new dash - I expect it was an early production car, and they just didn't have the injection molded parts in time. Kinda a cool piece of history, but I don't know if it has any real value.

Nice piece. How much do you want for it?

Thats kinda what I figured... pretty neat.

And I am only asking $50 for it... seems pretty much going rate.

That's pretty cool. Not early fiberglass 308 cool, but cool none the less!

Is the entire trim piece made of fiberglass, or just the air vent box?

Pretty cool find!
