template of 2.7 or 3 liter block needed
I need a very accurate template drawn of the top of a 3.0 or 2.7 liter engine block. This is to provide a template for modifying a 2.5L turbo head such that the water passages match up, without having to take the target engine apart just yet. Anyone with a bare block sitting around - I can have the template picked up via UPS if you can draw one for me, and give you a little dough or spare parts or whatever in compensation. Kinda makes me wish I had not thrown out my old head gasket.
You might buy the 3.0 turbo head gasket as it should show you the shape of the water passage, or ask some of the people who are tearing down a 3.0 motor to send you the old gasket.
