well, i wanted to look alittle bit about my family history so i found this site, ancestry.com....i decided to check it out.....signed up and looked around...

well, i found nothing....havent been back since...

it ends up they have a 15 day trail....after 15 days they start billing....its a year contract that gets 30 dollars a month from you....since may, i didnt get no billing statements, nothing...nothing to tell me that my 15 days was up and they were starting to bill....just stupid little junk emails from them....i decided to look on my CC statement today and found that thye have been charging me....

well i called them up, i was alittle pissed...and the only thing they could do was cancel the renewl for when it gets to may....

anyhow, i stuck wtih a subscription now that i cant do nothing with....

just thought i would share it...

Welcome to the internet, most subscriptions sites do this, you have to be very careful to cancel before the trial periods are up.

 

They billed my dad ovre a hundred dollars on his credit card during his free trial. I'd steer clear from them.

 

Never trust anything on the internet that says "free" and then asks you for your credit card.

 

i normally do cancel before the trail is up, but most of the site i go to that do this send out a email or something....

anyhow, another lessoned learned...damn...
