Strut bar and some kind of exhaust, so maybe hooned a bit. Hard to believe that the engine and trans are rebuilt. However if I needed wheels I'd probably get a cheap flight to Houston, pick it up and then go to Buffalo Bayou Brewing to toast my new 944.

Yeah I'm a little skeptical, I looked at the location and it's in a rough part of town. I'm heading over with my girlfriend's little brother tomorrow to look at it, he's been itching for a 944 since I took him for a spirited drive in mine

I'm curious what you find. For a car with that much alleged attention the the internals why would it look like it has been sitting for 10 years?

Dead body inside from ten years ago, hence the complete cleaning and detailing necessary.

Yeah, I mean, I've made a point of doing the mechanical stuff on mine before anything 'cosmetic', because I figure an ugly car that runs well is better than a pretty one that can't leave the garage, but even then, I've washed it and driven it...

Car is listed as an 84. It looks like a late car (85.5 or newer) by the heater blower and fuse box location. Also the windshield trim. Fuel lines are through passenger side also. Hope its an 88.

good catch. Alarm lock though, so maybe 85 or 86.

Looks like it comes with an extra fuse box cover. Score!
